GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
To provide the highest level of service to Imperial Imaging patients and referring physicians. Perform Ultrasound procedures as directed by on-site radiologist.
SUPERVISION REQUIRED:
Imaging Manager
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
This position does not supervise any employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure that patient, referring physician, and radiologist needs are met.
- Ensure that all duties are performed in an efficient manner and in compliance with regulations.
- Perform Ultrasound procedures.
- Log patients and exams performed each day.
- Assists receptionist and other techs as needed.
- Monitor equipment performance and notifies the supervisor of any repair assistance needed.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ultrasound Certification and Bachelor’s Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Previous radiology & ultrasound experience preferred
