Eric Knott, M.D.

Family medicine physician Eric Knott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. He earned three advanced degrees from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans: a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience; a Master of Public Health, Behavioral and Community Health and a Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Knott completed a family medicine residency at HCA Healthcare Tristar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Knott’s experience includes working as an adjunct biology instructor at Delgado Community College in New Orleans and serving as a research associate at the Neuroscience Center of Excellence at LSUHSC. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Physician Scientists Association.

Dr. Knott accepts all major insurance and Medicare.
