Marissa De La Paz, M.D.

Originally from Cabot, Arkansas, Dr. Marissa De La Paz earned a Bachelor of Science in biology, a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, and a graduate certificate in gerontology from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. She earned a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, also in Little Rock, and then completed the LSU Health Science Center Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dr. De La Paz is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. De La Paz provides primary care for adults and children over three years of age, as well as certain women’s health services. She practices with Dr. Melissa Rasberry and Dr. Keane O’Neal at 2000 Southwood Drive in Lake Charles.
