The Gastroenterology Department at Imperial Health provides diagnosis and care for problems of the digestive tract which includes disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, rectum, liver, gallbladder and pancreas. Included is a wide spectrum of disorders ranging from acute conditions such as gastroenteritis and constipation, to more chronic problems such as peptic ulcer disease, hepatitis, ulcerative colitis, gallbladder disease, cancers and polyps of the colon, among others.

Under the direction of Gastroenterologist Dr. Juan Teran, our experienced staff provides our patients with accurate and timely diagnoses and advanced treatment for digestive disorders and diseases. Many of the procedures required are performed in our Ambulatory Care Center.
